The Foreign Service represents the Cook Islands abroad and advises the Government on international developments. We work with partners to protect our sovereignty, strengthen our economic resilience and support the wellbeing of Cook Islanders at home and overseas.

How we are organised
The Foreign Service works through three divisions: Pacific Regional Affairs; International and Trade Affairs; and Treaties, Multilaterals and Oceans. These are supported by our diplomatic posts, including the High Commissions in Wellington and Suva and the Consulate in Auckland.
