Finance Manager

As Finance Manager you will manage the effective and efficient delivery of financial information and advice on the Ministry’s budget allocations, supporting staff across the Ministry offices, including diplomatic missions. Foreign Service Officer

Department: Foreign Service       Date: 31-Mar-23       Location: Rarotonga

As a Foreign Service Officer, you will assist in monitoring and advising the Government in relation to foreign policy to protect and promote Cook Island's interests. We have roles available in the International Trade & Affairs Division, PACER Plus, and Pacific Regional Affairs Division.

Protocol Officer

Department: Capability and Service Delivery       Date: 3-May-23       Location: Rarotonga

As Protocol Officer, you will deliver an exceptional standard of professionalism as the face of the nation that welcomes many different nationalities at the highest levels of State, Executive, and Government.

You will assist the Chief of Protocol in managing and coordinating logistical programmes for visiting dignitaries and their accompanying delegations from arrival to departure. You will also assist in facilitating the presentation of credentials on behalf of foreign governments to the King’s Representative and provide support in the organisation of other events and ceremonies for the Cook Islands.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of the Cook Islands, are able to understand and implement protocols, have a sound understanding of Government processes, and are aware of foreign affairs and diplomatic relations. The ideal candidate will have experience and/or qualifications in project management or other relevant field.
